Punjab Government launches 'Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar' scheme, offering 43 government services at citizens' doorsteps

AAP national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann are set to launch the 'Bhagwant Mann Sarkar Tuhade Dwar' scheme on December 10.
Under this initiative, Punjab residents will be able to avail themselves of 43 government services at their doorsteps, including certificates for birth, marriage, death, income, residence, caste, and various other essential documents.
Malwinder Singh Kang, the chief spokesperson of AAP's Punjab unit, emphasized that the scheme covers almost all government services, excluding arms licenses, Aadhaar cards, and stamp papers.
Citizens can conveniently schedule appointments for the doorstep services by dialing the helpline number '1076.'The scheme encompasses 43 crucial services, ranging from birth certificates to electricity bill payments.
Specially trained staff will visit homes or offices with tablets, ensuring completion of paperwork, fee collection, and provision of receipts. Soft copies of certificates will be sent electronically, and hard copies will be delivered to homes.
